This simulator is not compatible with all vehicles! Some vehicles (usually newer) have programming to check the plausibility of the waveform from the oxygen sensor. In this case, it may detect that the signal is being simulated and can produce a check engine code. Also, some models will have non-standard wire color combinations to the simulator, making installation difficult.

The O2 Sensor heater simulator will only work if the ECU is not faulty, and the related wiring is in good condition. It will only work if the fault code is due to a bad heater circuit inside the O2 sensor.
