This simulator is not compatible with all vehicles! Some vehicles (usually newer) have programming to check the plausibility of the waveform from the oxygen sensor. In this case, it may detect that the signal is being simulated and can produce a check engine code. Also, some models will have non-standard wire color combinations to the simulator, making installation difficult.

This product only works to simulate the downstream oxygen sensors (behind the catalytic converter). The upstream sensors can never be simulated or bypassed because they are used to regulate the fuel mixture.

The O2 Sensor Simulator will only work if the O2 sensor in the vehicle is not bad or damaged, the ECU is not faulty, and the related wiring is in good condition.
