Cromwell man dies in collision - Fort Wayne Journal Gazette

A 75-year-old Cromwell man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash at U. S. 33 and Indiana 5 between Cromwell and Ligonier. According to a release from the Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Alfred Crook was driving a 1990 Dodge Dakota pickup truck that collided with a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by 49-year-old Georgia Krieger from Wisconsin. Ligonier and Cromwell fire departments responded, along with Noble County EMS, Noble County Sheriff’s Department, the Indiana State Police and the Cromwell Police Department, the release said. Gunman robs Richards worker A female employee at the Richards Restaurant, 717 W. Washington Center Road, was the victim of an armed robbery Sunday night as she left the restaurant with the night deposit. According to a Fort Wayne police report, the woman was going to her car to get her cellphone and had the night deposit bank bag in her apron. As she approached the northwest corner of the building, the report said, a man who had been crouching near the door approached her. The woman went into the restaurant and pulled the door closed, catching her finger in the door and cutting it, according to the report. Source: www.journalgazette.net
