According to KBB, the hybrid version of the Lexus ES offers 40 mpg city and 39 mpg highway for a combined fuel economy of 40 mpg and a range of 700 miles. Consumer Reports likes the smooth ride and reliability but complained the car is not engaging and has a troublesome control system.
