With the BMW M3 and M4 in its sights, the ATS-V is gunning its engine hard and ready to rumble. That power routes through the rear wheels via either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic. On the interior, Recaro seats are standard but so is CUE, Cadillac’s frustrating infotainment system. Often unresponsive and difficult to operate at speed, the screen actually manages complex commands like entering a destination into the optional navigation system with well-thought-out logic.
