Stolen Car in Marietta Leads to Foot Pursuit, Arrests Made - The News Center

UPDATE 8/31/2015 5:29 PM. Police have arrested the juvenile in connection to a stolen vehicle found in the Marietta Walmart parking lot over the weekend. Police are looking for a seventeen-year old boy who was the passenger in a stolen vehicle. The gold 2006 Chevy Malibu was reported stolen in Wood County on Saturday, and its owner recognized it in the parking lot of the Marietta Walmart Sunday afternoon. The driver and one passenger fled on foot for over an hour after Marietta Police were able to catch the driver. The seventeen-year old passenger, who they were unable to catch, has not been identified. Once charges are filed, he will be facing one count of fleeing and eluding, and one count of receiving stolen property.
