Youngsters also dressed up Saturday to participate in the Kiddie Parade and raced soapbox cars down the street, while others viewed classic cars or challenged each other in a pickleball tournament. "The great part about this event is that there's something for everybody," said Sharon Kellinger, who watched the soapbox derby with her two children. "Even if you don't have kids or you don't like cars or whatever, you can still come out here and enjoy it. ". Gary Paul, who drove down from Manitoba in his 1974 Chevrolet Caprice, echoed that sentiment. Though it was his first time at Ox Cart Days, he said he hopes to return in future years. "It's great to see the community come together like this," he said. The 26th annual Ox Cart Days, which began Wednesday, hosted events every afternoon and evening.
