Traffic stops lead to drug arrests - News-Democrat & Leader

On Tuesday, July 21 at 7:48 p. m. , Deputy Kyler Harvey of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a white 1998 Chevrolet Astro van on West 9th Street in the area of Nashville Street. During the traffic stop, Harvey located methamphetamine, prescription medications and items of drug paraphernalia. As a result of the investigation, the driver, 31-year-old Timothy R. Lyon of Russellville, was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on charges of careless driving, failure to notify change of address to department of... Mike Reeser and officer Casey Steenbergen all of the Russellville Police Department and deputy Jarrod Lyons of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department. He then called the Russellville Police Department to assist and officer Chris Bellar and canine Jaxx arrived on the scene to conduct a canine search of the vehvle.
