Sterling crash on Route 190 remains under investigation - The Landmark

State Police troopers stationed at the barracks in Holden responded to reports of a wrong-way driver on Route 190 traveling northbound on the southbound side of the highway in Sterling at around 7:40 p. m. According to a press release from State... “Upon arrival, troopers discovered that the wrong-way vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet Versa driven by a 39-year-old woman from Worcester, clipped a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a 51-year-old Shrewsbury woman. State Police identified the wrong-way driver as Worcester resident Jeanette D. Adams, 39, who was taken by ambulance to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester’s Lakeside campus. The driver of the Trailblazer was also transported by ambulance to UMass Worcester (Lakeside) with non-life threatening injuries,” according to the press release. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, according to the press release, by “troopers from the Holden Barracks and troopers assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
