Two transported following three-vehicle accident - Grand Island Independent

Transported were Christine Claussen, 53, of Grand Island and Patricia Svoboda, 63, of Bellevue. All three vehicles were eastbound on Highway 34. A silver 2010 Nissan Frontier, driven by Timothy Svoboda, 63, of Bellevue, was stopped in traffic, attempting to turn left into a private drive. Behind him was a red 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo, driven by Claussen. She was stopped, Webb said. Coming up behind them was a 2000 Nissan Ultima, driven by Mikayla Wiseman, 23, of North Platte. That vehicle failed to stop and rear-ended the Monte Carlo, causing that car to collide with Svoboda’s vehicle. Patricia Svoboda, a passenger in the front seat of the Nissan Frontier, complained of neck pain. Claussen complained of head and neck pain, Webb said. Wiseman was issued a citation for careless driving, Webb said. Source: www.theindependent.com
