Search continues for man missing since early June - Daily Journal Online

Andrew Craig, 29, was last seen June 2 at Ball Creek Bowl, located off of Highway 21, in De Soto. Rick Draper of the De Soto Police Department said Wednesday that the agency has been actively “pinging” Craig’s cell phone, but the device is shut off, so officials have been unable to elicit any type of response. Draper said there have been no reliable reports of sightings of Craig. He said they found food left out in a bowl on the table, however, making it appear that he might have “just gotten up and left. He added that Craig’s car keys and car are gone. Draper said it is possible that Craig just left. He said it is not necessarily unusual for him to go off on a camping excursion, adding that it appears that Craig is into the outdoors and familiar with survival techniques. The situation has left the department with some questions about Craig’s whereabouts. Draper said when Craig was last seen, he was talking with a neighbor at Ball Creek Bowl. While no incidents occurred at the bowling alley, authorities believe Craig may have been involved in an alleged assault May 31 at Fat Boy’s Saloon & Grill in De Soto, Draper said.
