Prison escapee suspect in home invasion - La Crosse Tribune

A man who walked away from a Jackson County prison is now a suspect in an armed home invasion case in Sawyer County. Deputies responded to a report of a home invasion in which two male suspects entered a residence and confronted the homeowner at gunpoint before leaving the residence and homeowner unharmed. Law enforcement believes Dumholt stole a gray four-door 1996 Chevrolet Lumina after leaving the town of Komensky minimum-security facility between 9-10:45 p. m. on Aug. He was last seen near Ho-Chunk Gaming – Black River Falls in the town of Brockway where he is suspected of stealing items from a truck parked at the casino, according to a recently released Black River Falls Police Department report. Sheriff’s department tracking dogs were used until the track was called off and the suspect not located, according to the police report.
