This week Chevrolet hinted (with silhouette pictures), at the new swooping design lines off the next generation Chevrolet Malibu. My mother bought a brand new 1979 Malibu wagon from the old Welcome Chevrolet on 92nd & Ashland and from the start the car was a problem. My mother sold that car in 1985. Fast forward 11 years (November 1996), and the Malibu name was no longer in the Chevrolet line up (and hadn’t been since the short lived Celebrity took over in the mid 1980’s followed by the Lumina in the 1990's),...
