Victim fights back during attempted robbery in Prairie Village Shops, holds on ... - Prairie Village Post

On Friday August 28, 2015, at approximately 2:18 p. m. , officers were dispatched to an attempted robbery in the Prairie Village Mall parking lot, 22 on the Mall, in Prairie Village, Kansas. When the victim exited her vehicle the suspect sprayed her in the face with a duster air can. The suspect grabbed the victim’s purse and tried to take it. The victim fought back, causing the suspect to knock the victim on the ground. The suspect left the area in an early 2000 silver Chevy Cavalier 4D displaying no license plates. The victim had minor scratches from the attempted robbery. An employee from a nearby business assisted the victim by calling the police shortly after the suspect left the area. Source: pvpost.com
