A mother and daughter are facing charges after police say they shoplifted at an Aldi store in Painted Post on July 22. Susan Francis, 58, and daughter Laurene Francis, 33, of Westfield, Pa. , were charged with misdemeanor counts of petit larceny. Susan Francis was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. The pair was arraigned in Lindley Town Court and sent to the Steuben County jail with bail set at $250 cash or $500 bond, police said. Police say a teenage girl had more than 100 grams of cocaine — and the packaging used to sell it — in her Binghamton East Side home. Dimeo, 19, was taken into custody Monday after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force raided 133 E. Frederick St. , where they found 119 grams of powder cocaine and crack cocaine. Dimeo was arraigned in Binghamton City Court on two felony counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia. A Johnson City duo is accused of snatching merchandise from Burlington Coat Factory in the Oakdale Mall — and one of them had previously been banned from the store, police said.
