-- A Hinsdale man accused of a drunken driving episode that allegedly caused his wife to fall from a moving vehicle has been indicted on one charge of felony reckless conduct. He also faces misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. According to court documents on file at the superior court, Vigneau said “he did not push his wife from the vehicle and that she was suicidal and in fact jumped from the vehicle. The indictment alleges he violently jerked the wheel of a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer he was driving, causing his passenger to be ejected and placing her in danger of serious bodily injury. The Chevrolet was used as a deadly weapon, the indictment alleges. Vigneau has been released on bail and a motion to remove the bail condition that had barred him from seeing his wife has been granted, according to court documents. On May 22, Hinsdale police responded to Meetinghouse Road after 34-year-old Tiffany Vigneau was ejected from a vehicle her husband allegedly was driving while drunk. Source: www.unionleader.com
