Jessica Roumfort, of Byron Court, reported the theft of a red and silver Mongoose brand bicycle from the front yard at her home on July 31. Troopers at Indiana estimated the loss at $100, and reported Saturday the bicycle has yet to be recovered. A motorist believed to be driving a Chevrolet S10 truck or Blazer fled after hitting a utility pole between 3 and 4 a. m. Saturday along Route 85 near Beyer, according to state police at Indiana. Troopers reported the vehicle was a 1995 to 2005 model that sustained damage to the right front and right side. The right side mirror was knocked from the vehicle, and the utility pole has major damage, according to police. State police found Tracey Miller, of Latrobe, in possession of marijuana at 9:23 p. m. July 31 when troopers discovered her walking in the middle of Route 982 near Bradenville District Court, according to a news release. Miller, 51, was charged Tuesday in a criminal complaint with possession of a small amount of marijuana, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and a summary violation of pedestrian laws. Timothy Russell, 57, of Apollo, was charged by state police at Kiski Valley with driving under the influence and five summary traffic offenses following a traffic stop at 10:22 p. m. July 31 on Route 819 at Tower Road. Brandon McCracken, 25, of Anita, Jefferson County, was charged by Punxsutawney Borough police on Friday with DUI and one summary traffic infraction stemming from a traffic stop on July 12 on the.
