On July 22, police checked the welfare of a slumper in the doorway of his hotel room at the Red Roof Inn. A Coon Rapids man, driving the van, was located at Middleton Elementary School, and he denied seeing the bicyclist or being involved in an accident. On July 22, a baby was reportedly left in a gold Chevy at Sam’s Club Liquor, in the 9900 block of Hudson Road. A Woodbury man gave his rifle to a business, under the belief that the business would sell it for him. On July 23, civil remedies were discussed with the complainant, who told police “the guns may have been taken by the ATF,” the complaint said.
