2 Armed Men Barge Into Huntington Beach Home, Demand Cash, Flee: Police - KTLA

The home invasion was reported at 9:15 a. m. in the 19000 block of Coralwood Lane, said Officer Jennifer Marlatt, a spokeswoman for the Huntington Beach Police Department. A “female, dark-skinned” knocked on the door of the home, and a woman inside the home opened the door, Marlatt said. One of the residents of the home told KTLA his fiancee had initially opened the door and then shut it after the woman who knocked asked for someone who does not live there. There were two female adults, two male adults and a teenager inside the home, Marlatt said. At least one of the individuals lives at the home, Marlatt said, but she did not know the relationships between the members of the group. The armed men who entered the home were described as black and in their 30s. One man had on a gray T-shirt, black jeans and a dark knit cap, Marlatt said. One man and the woman who knocked on the door were seen fleeing westbound on foot, while the other man ran north, the Facebook post stated. At the time of the home invasion, police got a call of suspicious vehicle in the area, a 2002 white Chevrolet Malibu. It was not clear if the car was connected to the incident at the Coralwood Lane home, but the vehicle was not seen after the robbery attempt, police said. Source: ktla.com
