Man in Asbury shooting faces another charge - Asbury Park Press

ASBURY PARK – A North Carolina man was charged with attempted murder following a shooting that injured two men Monday night. Elijah "Streets" Graham, 27, of Fairview, North Carolina, was arrested around 4 a. m. Tuesday, according to a news release from Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office spokesman Charles Webster. Graham was charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon, the release said. Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired on Summerfield Avenue at about 10 p. m. They arrived and found a 24-year-old Neptune Township man at 1311 Washington Avenue with a gunshot wound to his back, the release said. Authorities believe he was shot inside a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu parked on Summerfield Avenue. Authorities later found a second victim, a 35-year-old Neptune Township man, who was also wounded during the shooting, the release said. “A victim who has not died, generally, we do not release their names," Webster said. If convicted of attempted murder, Graham could be exposed to a sentence of 20 years in state prison, the release said. Source: www.app.com
