Highway collision kills Northport woman, second victim taken to UAB Hospital - AL.com
A Northport woman died in a collision in Tuscaloosa County Tuesday afternoon, ALEA State Troopers said Wednesday morning. Trooper Reginal King said the victim, 45-year-old Tonya Michelle Jones, was driving on Highway 43 around 15 miles north of Northport when her Ford Taurus struck the Chevrolet Tahoe another woman was driving. King said Jones was killed in the accident and pronounced dead on the scene. King said the vehicles hit one another just after 2:45 Tuesday afternoon. Source: www.al.com
