In Pontiac, where Woodward Avenue loops back around, Dream Cruise fans said Saturday that they have the best seats in the house. The traffic is lighter, the cars are more customized -- though perhaps less pricey than the ones further south -- and the drivers are far more likely to squeal their tires, to scattered applause.
