Victim identified in Colleton County fatal crash - WCBD News 2
COLLETON COUNTY, SC — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating following a deadly crash in Colleton County. On Wednesday, August 19 at 5:49am, the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Impala lost control on a curve in the 8900 block of Charleston Highway east of Featherbed Road. The driver crossed the center line, over-corrected and struck the driver of a Pontiac Bonneville on the driver’s side. Colleton County Fire-Rescue say 51-year-old Charles Wilson, the driver of the Pontiac Bonneville was trapped and died as a result of injuries received during the crash.
