TWIN FALLS | An Eden man died when his vehicle rolled on a slick Interstate 84 in Jerome County on Monday morning. Idaho State Police said Ernesto Gonzalez, 51, was driving a 2007 GMC Sierra west at 5:37 a. m. when he lost control and went through the median and the vehicle rolled. The vehicle ended up in the eastbound lanes of the interstate, blocking traffic at mile 179, about six miles east of the U. S. 93 exit to Twin Falls, until after 9 a. m. Gonzalez died at the scene. His passenger, Francisco Cantu, 49, of Murtaugh, was not injured, police said. Police said the interstate was slick Monday morning and there were multiple other crashes and slideoffs in the area, but no other serious injuries or deaths had been reported. Ajayi didn’t need any more confidence. “He’s more physical this year,” Fresno State head coach Tim DeRuyter said on Monday. He can run through tackles and you better have more than one guy at the point of attack because one on one he’s going to win more than his fair share of battles. The answer Petersen wanted to give: Ajayi is the best back he’s ever coached. Not that it means much, but having covered the Pac-12 for a few years, Ajayi is the second-best running back I’ve seen, behind the collegiately incomparable Reggie Bush. Quietly, at least at the national level, Ajayi is having one of the greatest seasons in college football history. Source: magicvalley.com
