Chevrolet Begins Restoring Milestone C4 Corvette Damaged in Sinkhole - Motor Trend
This 1992 Corvette is the second model that the museum has pledged to restore, with the first being the 2009 Corvette ZR1 Blue Devil , which only suffered light damage. After the 1992 Corvette, the museum will tackle the restoration of a third car, a 1962 Corvette. While more models were damaged in the sinkhole, the National Corvette Museum will not be restoring them, and will instead keep them in their current state to preserve their historical significance. While the sinkhole may have started out somewhat as a tragedy, the National Corvette Museum will build a sinkhole-themed display.
