First off this is still larger than Trax size as they are on two different sized platforms. By the looks of the photo’s the outside is reduced in size but the passenger compartments is not much smaller than the Nox in the photo’s. It does leave a tough record to follow up with the new one. The Nox has been one of the best and most profitable models GM has had in a long time. The new one will be as or even more important than the Malibu in my eyes with the increase in popularity of CUV models today. The passenger areas looks similar but the nose looks like they have made it a little smaller. The dash is so deep that more room could be gain there and the rear suspension intrudes into the cargo area more than I like. While some make a big deal of the moving rear seat I find you set it once and seldom ever move it. Neat idea but not something you use often. We set the seat back and just leave it. I hope details like AC vents in the rear seat are added as little things like this are really needed. Imagine a hybrid Equinox with combined MPG in. Source: gmauthority.com
