NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP — One person was sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in Negaunee Township Monday evening. Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post say the accident happened around 5:00 p. m. at the intersection of US-41 and M-35. 45-year-old Denise Arbelius of Palmer was trying to cross the eastbound lanes of US-41 to head south on M-35... As she crossed the lanes, she drove into the path of an eastbound Subaru Legacy driven by 48-year-old Anthony Lackey of Marquette.
