KIMBERLING CITY — A man was hospitalized following a crash after being pursued by a Stone County deputy at approximately 2:15 a. m. Monday on Missouri 13 about two miles north of Kimberling City. Daniel Hinton, 36, of Springfield, was driving his 2008 Chrysler Sebring during the pursuit when his vehicle left the side of the road and hit a culvert, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. “Basically, (the department got a) suspicious vehicle call,” Rader said. A deputy spotted the suspicious vehicle in the oncoming lane and turned to follow, Rader said. The deputy followed and found the suspect had already crashed, Rader said.
