Police investigate two robberies, aggravated assault - Odessa American

The man said while he was taking groceries from the back of his vehicle, an unknown man approached him, the release stated, and pointed a handgun at him and demanded all his money. The man didn’t have money on him, so the suspect got into a dark colored sedan and fled the scene with a black hooded shirt covering his face, the release stated. When police got on scene they met with a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman who said they were robbed by two unknown men, the release stated. The man said while he was sitting with his girlfriend in the parking lot of the University Gardens Apartments, 4801 Oakwood Drive, two men approached them, according to the release. The two men asked the man and his girlfriend for money and took out a handgun, according to the release, and one of the men shouted obscenities at them and threatened to inflict serious bodily injury to them. The release stated one of the reported suspects grabbed the man’s wallet and change. The reported victim said both of the suspects fled the scene through the complex with hooded shirts pulled over their faces, the release stated.
