Terry Huber of Waseca and his Dodge Stratus took first in the appliance race, where the cars circle around the track loaded down with dish washers, ovens and the like. In the extreme division, Shane Anderson of Welch was first, Jake Reuter of Hastings was second and Chris Anderson of Cannon Falls was third. Mike Blowers of Waseca and his Dodge Neon took gold. Josh Newkirk of Austin was second while Cooper finished third. Shelly Cooper in a 1995 Dodge Neon was second, and Jenny Sommers’ Olds was the first car out of commission. In the trailer races, vehicles pull trailers as they circle the oval. The first prize is awarded to the extreme driver, the second prize is given to the driver who completes the most laps in the allotted time, and the third prize is for the best looking trailer. In the mini and midsize division, Eric Lemke of St. Paul was the extreme driver while Mike Kruse of Albert Lea completed the most laps. The trailer of Terry Huber of Waseca was deemed the best looking. Huber was second place finisher lapwise, and Jason Newkirk of Austin was third in lap completion.
