25 : At 3:01 p. m. , police took a report of an assault that took place on the Bremwood campus earlier in the day, where a female juvenile assaulted a staff member. An investigation led to the arrest of Kelsey Nicole Michelson, 20, of Waverly, for fifth-degree theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 27 : At 2:22 p. m. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of 11th Street and Fourth Avenue Southwest, in the Waverly-Shell Rock High School parking lot. Logan Jack Derifield, 18, of Denver, was driving a 2003 Ford F150 and pulling out of the parking lot when Luke Thomas Velky, 14, of Waverly, turned from a row too soon in a 1988 Chevrolet 2500 and caught the rear bumper of the Ford with his front... 28 : At 1:07 p. m. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident on West Bremer Avenue near the railroad tracks and 12th Street Northwest. Christine Mildred Daniels, 61, of Waverly, was driving westbound in a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country and stopped for traffic in the left lane. Brianne Lean Shader, 17, of Waverly, was driving a 1993 Dodge Spirit also westbound in the left lane, but couldn’t stop when she approached the van and rear ended it, causing moderate damage to her car and minor damage to the van.
