SPANISH FORK, Utah — Two people were killed and three others are in serious to critical condition after a vehicle pulling a horse trailer on US-6 in Spanish Fork Canyon T-boned a car that moved in front of it while making a left turn. The crash occurred around 5 p. m. , and according to the Utah Highway Patrol a Dodge Intrepid was stopped at a stop sign on northbound SR-89 and then went to make a left turn to travel west on SR-6. The car was T-boned by a Dodge 3500 pickup truck... The driver of the pickup truck and the left rear passenger suffered critical and serious injuries, respectively. The Highway Patrol states there is no indication alcohol or other controlled substances played a role in the crash, and they said it is not clear why the Intrepid moved into the path of the pickup truck. The crash reduced lanes of travel in the area of US-6 and SR-89 for several hours after the crash.
