3 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Highway 50 - FOX40

Three people are dead and one person is seriously injured after a traffic accident involving one vehicle late Sunday night. 30, a 2007 Dodge Nitro carrying four passengers was traveling westbound on US-50, east of Peavine Ridge Road, when the vehicle drove straight, failing to make a turn at a wide curve. The roof of the vehicle was ripped off and three passengers, a man and two women, were not wearing safety belts and were ejected, causing fatal injuries. A fourth passenger was wearing a safety belt during the accident and sustained serious injuries. However, authorities have confirmed that three of the passengers are from Southern California, and the fourth passenger is from out of state. Source: fox40.com
