Accidents kill two on state highways - Arkansas Online
A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning after crashing into the front of a truck in Madison County, Arkansas State Police reported. Jonathan Avia-Gutierrez, 27, of Springdale was driving a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle east on U. S. 412 about 1 mile east of Huntsville around 8:56 a. m. when he passed a 2013 Freightliner on a double yellow line into a blind curve, the report said. Also Tuesday, a minor was killed and two other people were injured in a crash in Booneville in Logan County, state police reported. A 1995 Honda Civic was headed south on North Owen Street and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of West First and North Owen streets and was hit by an oncoming 2005 Dodge Caravan, the report said. A female minor in the Honda and the driver of the Dodge Caravan, Bruce Roberts, 26, of Booneville, were injured in the crash and taken to Mercy Hospital in Booneville. Metro on 09/03/2015.
