Dodge Grand Caravan Will Live on Until at Least 2017 Model Year - Motor Trend

Production on the 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan will begin August 2015 and end in August 2016, according to the documents. The 2017 Grand Caravan should be largely unchanged from the current version and will head into production on August 23, 2016. Meanwhile, a next-generation Town & Country is scheduled to start production early next year. While the Grand Caravan may survive a little longer than we expected, don't plan on a promising future for the model. A Dodge spokesman told AN that the Grand Caravan "will eventually be the minivan that goes away," although the company won't confirm when this will happen. So far this year, Grand Caravan sales are down 51 percent through May, largely due to three months of retooling at the company's Windsor, Ontario plant that will produce the next-gen Town & Country.
