16 after reportedly admitting to driving a van from Clark County and parking it on a road in the town of Komensky, according to the criminal complaint filed in Jackson County Circuit Court. Authorities first began looking for the Dodge Grand Caravan at about 3:45 p. m. after it was believed it may have been involved in a hit-and-run accident and the driver may be intoxicated. The owner of the van, who was trying to locate the vehicle, had detained the van’s passenger, who said he wasn’t driving and had reportedly thrown the keys to the van into the woods after it was left along the roadway, according to the complaint. The van was located on Morrison Road near Pettibone Pass, and a short time later White arrived at the scene. White, who said he had been driving, reportedly appeared intoxicated and admitted to drinking alcohol earlier that day, according to the complaint. White has previous drunken driving convictions for offenses in 1990 in Minnesota, in 1994 in Monroe County and in 1993, 1997, 2000 and 2006 in Jackson County, according to the complaint.
