Armed Intruder, Homeowner Both Shot in Struggle: UPDATE - Patch.com

Authorities now say a getaway vehicle driven by a second, at-large suspect is registered to the suspect who is in custody. The vehicle is a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan with Maryland registration 6AX6329, possibly driven by a black male, 5’5” with a medium build, wearing blue jeans and a gray hoodie shirt. A 52-year-old man called Anne Arundel County Police just before 3 a. m. from a neighbor’s house in the 1000 block of Skidmore Drive in Annapolis to report he had been shot in the leg. One of the suspects pointed a pistol at the victim, who grabbed the gun, and struggled with the suspect with the resident shot in the leg. Despite his wound, the resident continued to struggle, wrestled the pistol away from the suspect and shot him before fleeing the house. The girlfriend told police a second suspect left the residence after the victim fled.
