61-year-old motorcyclist killed in head-on crash in Seneca County - Syracuse.com

-- A Seneca Falls man was killed earlier this morning after his motorcycle drifted into the oncoming lane and hit a vehicle head-on. Around 1 a. m. , Raymond W. Caster, 61, of 1062 Middle Black Brook Road, was riding his 1986 Harley-Davidson motorcycle east on West Tyre Road, about 1/4 mile east of Route 414, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office. As Caster reached the crest of a hill, he drifted across the center lane and into the oncoming lane, where he struck another vehicle head-on. Caster was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the road. The driver of the 2007 Dodge Caliber was identified by deputies as 25-year-old Mary Beth Sears, of 2637 Brewer Road, Waterloo. Seneca County sheriff's deputies were assisted by state Park Police, Magee firefighters and North Seneca ambulance. Source: www.syracuse.com
