Deputies take on-the-run Malden teens into custody - KREM.com (subscription)

– The Whitman County Sheriff's Office said they took two runaway teens from Malden into custody Wednesday. Deputies said they had been trying to locate the teens, one boy and one girl, for the past ten days. Deputies said the teens had just reportedly broken into a home and stole marijuana and a bag of chips. The teens allegedly sped off in a stolen blue 1997 Ford F-250 truck. Whitman County Deputies and the Washington State Patrol responded and located the vehicle on northbound State Route 195. When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle near Plaza in Spokane County, troopers said Thornton sped away in excess of 100...
