Police blotter: Auto burglaries, stolen vehicle - Morgan Hill Times
Three necklaces, a red Converse tennis shoe and a charm medallion were stolen from a vehicle parked in the area of Wright and Hale avenues, according to police reports. The crime was reported 4:37 p. m. July 28. A thief or thieves smashed the rear window of a blue and gray Chevrolet and stole a flight bag and headset, according to police reports. An apartment in an undisclosed location in Morgan Hill was burglarized, and the thief or thieves stole a camera, wedding rings and a bracelet, according to police reports. The crime was reported 2:04 p. m. July 31. Hit and run. A white Dodge Ram collided with a red Toyota Avalon on eastbound Cochrane Road at U. S. 101, according to police. The Dodge fled the scene and the accident was reported by the driver of the Toyota. The Dodge was traveling the wrong way on Cochrane Road, and hit the front bumper of the Toyota. The Dodge driver was described as an elderly white male. The accident was reported 9:34 p. m. July 31. Stolen vehicle. A blue 1992 Honda Accord was stolen from an undisclosed location in Morgan Hill, police reported.
