Police have located a homeless man who has been charged with stealing copper items from and urinating and defecating in an East Lampeter Township home. The items were taken Tuesday from a home in the first block of Harvest Road, which also was damaged, police said. Police identified the man as Andrew Daniel Reed, 59, who was homeless and living out of his vehicle. Police had been looking for Reed after construction workers arrived at the Harvest Drive home Tuesday morning, and found a man inside the residence, which is undergoing renovations. The man told the workers that he was hired to clean up the site, police said. He then left in a tan 1994 GMC Vandura full-size panel van, with the license plate of JML-0021.
