Nissan Recalls 639000 Pathfinders, Rogues and Infiniti QX60 Vehicles - CarComplaints.com

— Nissan is recalling over 639,000 vehicles, some the same models that were recalled less than two weeks ago. Nissan Rogue / Nissan Rogue Select The largest recall involves almost 469,000 Rogues to fix problems that could cause a fire. The affected vehicles are the 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue and the 2014 Nissan Rogue Select. Nissan says the recalled 2008-2013 Nissan Rogues were manufactured March 7, 2007, to November 26, 2013, and the 2014 Nissan Rogue Selects were built September 23, 2013, to July 2, 2014. Nissan doesn't know when the Rogue recall will begin. Nissan Pathfinder / Infiniti JX35 / Infiniti QX60 Nissan says over 170,660 vehicles are called back to fix problems with the hood release cable assembly. Nissan says the recalled vehicles include the 2013-2014 Nissan Pathfinder and Pathfinder hybrid, 2013 Infiniti JX35, 2014 Infiniti QX60 and the QX60 hybrid. Nissan dealers will change the angle of the hood release mechanism to make the latch release cable longer. With questions about any of these recalls, contact Nissan at 800-647-7261. Nissan's Pathfinder SUV plays in a segment where the domestic leaders—Ford Explorer, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Trailblazer—have had V-8 power for years. For 2008, the Pathfinder will be joining the big guns of the segment with the 5. 6-liter "Endurance" V-8 from the juggernaut Armada and Titan full-size trucks. Nissan hasn't confirmed that the new engine will retain the exact output it has in the bigger trucks (317 hp, 385 lb-ft), but it should be a gain of roughly 50 hp and 100 lb-ft over the Pathfinder's base V-6. more than enough to offset the... The last V-6 Pathfinder we tested ran to sixty mph in 7. 5 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 15. 9 seconds at 87 mph. Pathfinders with the base 4. 0-liter, 266-hp V-6 will come standard with 17" wheels, while V-8 models will get 18s.
