Mitsubishi Triton The fifth-generation Triton launched in Australia in April. Tritons of the past have struck a chord with buyers on a value basis, but the latest iteration purports to offer much more. Under the bonnet resides an updated 2. 4-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 133kW of power and 430Nm of torque. It is mated with a five-speed automatic transmission (six-speed manual standard) and is equipped with an electronic centre differential lock.
