i was being a bit tongue in cheek, old Madge here seems to think jlr’s 300,000 a year is niche volume, but that is about what Kia roll out of the Slovak Republic a year. If a carmaker of any sort wants to set up shop and create jobs, what kind of govt would say “no thanks, we’ll wait for someone who wants to build a million plus cars a year”. The REAL problem is that 2/3 of population earn less than average so often people move to western Slovakia to earn more or go abroad. As Jaguar will get tax benefits and donations for at least a decade, they do not have to care about corporate tax etc. Jaguar surely knows that there are already VW, PSA and KIA here as well as suppliers/subcontractors and that there will be some pressure for paying more to qualified workforce. As a luxury brand selling expensice vehicles they have more “free room” than PSA selling c3 for 10000 EUR. Overall, it is good that they will come here and as a luxury car makes they will sell well even during a possible next crisis, what is not so good are other rather political aspects – unability to use Money from the EU properly, unability to... We’ve tested the new Land Rover Discovery 4 V6 HSE Black Edition. The Land Rover Discovery has been in production since 1989 but purists will always go for the Defender, if they’re a Land Rover fan, while businessmen will not give their Range Rover away. Our test vehicle was called the HSE Black Edition , for no obvious reasons, because the predominant color was not black anywhere in the cabin and especially on its exterior design. The Land Rover Discovery 4 is actually based on the Discovery 3. It is an updated version which is using the same Integrated Body Frame structure, bringing updated lighting cluster, new bumpers and some fresh touches in the cabin. It has been introduced back in 2009 and designed by Gerry McGovern and, believe it or not, it is closely related to the Range Rover Sport. In North America this is also known as the LR4 and it is bringing four engines to the lineup, the 2. 7L Ford TD V6, the 3. 0L Ford TD V6, the AJ 3. 0L V6 and the 5. 0L V8 made by Jaguar. "We hid cocaine inside meals" - Another Arik Air employee confesses - DailyPost Nigeria

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agenc, NDLEA, on Thursday announced that another employee of Arik Air, Ikechukwu Chibuzor Oliver, has confessed to being an accomplice in the smuggling of 20kg cocaine to London on Monday. Oliver, Arik Air’s employee in the catering department hails from the Isialagwa North Local Government Area of Abia State. The graduate of Business Administration was employed by Arik Air in 2009. He was said to have assisted Chika Egwu Udensi to get the cocaine onboard the London-bound Flight W3101 on which Udensi arrived in the UK on Monday night. Udensi, a senior flight attendant with the airline was arrested with the substance by the UK Border Force at the Heathrow Airport, London, shortly after the Airbus A330 landed. The NDLEA, in a statement by Mitchell Ofoyeju, said 35 years old Oliver, a catering loader at Arik, was found to have subverted airport security by concealing cocaine in catering supplies. It quoted Oliver to have said, “It was Chika that introduced me into the drug deal. “The 20kg of cocaine found with Chika in London was concealed within the construction of laptop bags. The quantity and estimated street value of the cocaine is over N100m. “The latest Range Rover (Land Rover) car belonging to the prime suspect parked on the airline’s premises had been moved to the NDLEA office as exhibit.
