Et j’avoue que cette semaine, avec la Kia Soul EV, j’ai bien survécu, je me suis promenée et j’ai même trouvé le tour de ne pas manquer de jus. La Kia Soul EV –tout électrique- a une autonomie de 149km. Ce n’est pas l’énormité des 500 km habituels sur une voiture à essence. Mais pour mon aller-retour au boulot, passer ramasser l’épicerie et les petits imprévus qui se glissent à l’horaire pendant la journée, je n’arrive même pas à en brûler 100. Et ces 100km de ville et d’autoroute auraient dû me brûler un beau huit... Ce qui est génial avec cette Kia Soul, c’est la façon qu’elle nous affiche la durée résiduelle de la batterie. Il ne remonte pas, il ne stagne à peu près pas, et il ne fond pas à vue d’œil. C’est, qu'à ce jour, le véhicule électrique que j’ai conduit qui affiche le chiffre le plus près de la réalité. Parlez-en à un propriétaire de Ford Focus électrique : à pleine charge elle affiche 60km, mais il peut en parcourir 120, ou moins. La Kia Soul a ses petits airs cubiques, une belle habitabilité et un design déjà éprouvé sur nos routes.
