We all know the Jeep Patriot is the kind of car that has generated mixed feelings among owners. The guy took his story to Reddit , claiming he wrote to Jeep about the disappointment and he was answered by the company CEO. When the Patriot owner followed suit, Jeep allegedly offered to “upgrade to a nice vehicle” (we’re expecting a Renegade, but he doesn’t mention this). Moreover, the carmaker offered to over the cost of trading the Patriot back to the dealer. Here is the text of the email the man claims he sent to Jeep:. You see, my wife and I lived in Oregon and purchased a new 2015 Jeep Patriot 4x4 Altitude Edition a few weeks ago. We were so excited to own a new Jeep. “The fuel mileage is nowhere near the estimated mileage, the motor/transmission combination is lacking power, the interior just seems cheaper the more we use it, as well as not nearly as durable as the jeeps we have been accustomed to.
