-- A Norwalk teen led police on a high-speed chase for 20 minutes throughout Wilton before stopping when he found that his way was barred by a police vehicle and a spiked belt early Saturday, police said. , was arrested at gunpoint after he came to a stop, police said. He is charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment, engaging in a pursuit, speeding, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating without a license, operating without insurance, possession of marijuana and failing to display a plate. “As the officer was approaching the vehicle, he noticed the driver was revving the engine,” Lt. Stephen Brennan said. The pursuit wound its way through Wilton, including on Chestnut Hill Road at speeds that approached 100 mph, police said. At one point, a Wilton police cruiser blocked the suspect’s way on Route 33 into Westport, police said. The suspect struck the Wilton police cruiser and then escaped back into Wilton, Brennan said.
