Train technology prevented tragedy in Southern California, officials say - CNN

17-Year-Old Abilene Woman Killed in Crash Near Mertzon - San Angelo LIVE!

According to the Texas DPS, Megan Marie Metts, 17, of Abilene was a passenger in a 1993 Dodge Ram 2500 that was headed southbound on U. S. 67 on the wrong side of the road. Driving the Ram was John Will White, 20, of Abilene. He was driving a 2008 Ford F-450 in the correct lane of the roadway. The front, right of the Ford and Dodge trucks met, head on. DPS said the exact location of the crash was near the U. S. 67 and CR 480 intersection. Metts, the young woman passenger in the Dodge was pronounced dead at the scene by Irion County Justice of the Peace Judge Donna Smith.
