The Buick Park Avenue was a full-size luxury sedan sold from 1991 through 2005, after which it was replaced by the 2006 Buick Lucerne. In 1991, with the old rear-wheel-drive Electra sedan eliminated from Buick's lineup, the front-wheel-drive Buick Park Avenue became its own model after more than a decade as a trim level and sub-model of the Electra. Read More Below » The Buick Park Avenue was a full-size luxury sedan sold from 1991 through 2005, after which it was replaced by the 2006 Buick Lucerne. In 1991, with the old rear-wheel-drive Electra sedan eliminated from Buick's lineup, the front-wheel-drive Buick Park Avenue became its own model after more than a decade as a trim level and sub-model of the Electra. The Park Avenue Ultra model, in addition to more standard luxury features, used a supercharged version of that engine producing 240 horsepower, while standard Park Avenue models made do with a 205-hp naturally aspirated version. Those features were added to the base Park Avenue for the model's final year in 2005. The final year also saw the deletion of the stand-up Buick hood ornament. After a series of 3,000 Park Avenue Special Edition models in 2005--300 of which had a subtle black-on-platinum two-tone paint job--both the Park Avenue and the slightly smaller. Cadillac June 2015 Sales Down Due To Planned Reduction In Fleet Sales - GM Authority (blog)

Sales of Cadillac vehicles slid 3 percent to 13,515 units during June 2015 in the U. S. Though the continued sales slide is disappointing, especially in light of the brand producing vehicles that are as good as or better than those of the... Cadillac says that the decline is due to a “planned 56 percent reduction in sales to fleets”, and that retail sales increased 3 percent in the U. S. in June. The GM Authority Take Retail sales are usually significantly more profitable than sales to fleets, and Cadillac’s reduction in fleet sales is most likely the main reason that its average transaction prices (ATP) shot up 15 percent in June. Even so, we would still like to see Cadillac grow the top line of its business by selling more vehicles. Money is already going into a new advertising firm but the 2016 models are not out yet. The money is going to a new engine program but it will take several years for design, development, testing and production. Money is going to new product and updates that still have to go through design, development, test ing and production. If you look around the 2016 marketing has already started as the print ads and even internet marketing has started. Most are just pushing year end discounts on the 2015 models and no one is really marketing much on the 2016 models as they are not even. Source: gmauthority.com

The seven-seat MPV garnered a maximum score of 18 points in side impact tests and an overall score of 54. 4 points in crash tests performed by the China Automotive Techology and Research Center (CATARC). The company says the buffer zone in the engine compartment and the application of thermoforming technology on the B-pillars and door panels helps protect occupants in the event of a frontal or side impact crash. Baojun says active and passive safety functions like Bosch’s Electronic Stability Program (ESP), reverse radar, reverse cameras and even the Continental tires with “enhanced ground grip”, also help round out the 730’s safety regime.
