PGA golfer's missing father located in East Texas - KSLA-TV

That's according to an officer with the Clarksville Police Department, who says she made contact with Willard Hurley Friday after an employee at a local library recognized the man who had been missing since leaving his home in Leesburg, VA 12 days... Hurley, 61, is the father of professional golfer Billy Hurley III, who asked for the public's help in finding him during a press conference on Tuesday before the start of the Quicken Loans National tournament currently under way in Gainsesville,... The employee contacted Clarksville, TX police, who sent an officer to take a report. That officer tells KSLA News 12 that contact has been made with Hurley, although they won't say exactly how they tracked him down. Hurley had last been tracked to a hotel in Ashdown, AR on July 23. Before that, he was last seen on July 19 in his home state of Virginia. According to Leesburg, VA police, he was reported missing by his wife on July 27. . CATCHING A KILLER: Who drove the F-150 that hunted Michael Sullivan? - Hamilton Spectator

Police have released a video of Michael Sullivan's last waking moments. Sullivan was riding his bicycle two years ago when he was hunted down by a black 1998 Ford F-150 pickup truck. It is Hamilton's only unsolved homicide of 2013. In the surveillance video, Sullivan can be seen riding his bike along roads and alleys in the Barton Street-area, pursued by the pickup. The truck, now proven by forensic evidence to be the murder weapon, was seized by police that same year. But police aren't yet in a position to arrest the driver. The truck had three or four drivers in addition to the registered owner and it got passed among them, Det. One of those drivers, a man in his 20s with tan or olive skin and dark hair, allegedly killed Sullivan. Police have interviewed someone they believe to be that man, Thom said. That woman was the girlfriend of one four men who had access to the truck, but not the registered owner, Thom confirmed. Alongside police, Sullivan's family appealed to the public for help at a news conference Wednesday — two years later to the day the attack took place.   Cons: "Wish it got the MPG the new aluminum ones get."

  "This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I bought it new back in 1999, and at 257k miles everything works. Only simple maintenance in all those years. Never a major repair, and it's never left me stranded on the side of the road. My repairs consist of shocks, brakes, a couple of coils, a fuel pump, an AC compressor and a ball joint. In sixteen years that's it!"

  Consequences:

GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING (GVWR), AND 2002 AND 2003 LINCOLN BLACKWOOD VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM JUNE 20, 1995, THROUGH AUGUST 4, 2004, ORIGINALLY SOLD, OR CURRENTLY REGISTERED IN, CONNECTICUT, DELAWARE, ILLINOIS, INDIANA, IOWA, KENTUCKY, MAINE, MARYLAND, MASSACHUSETTS, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEW HAMPSHIRE, NEW JERSEY, NEW YORK, OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, VERMONT, WEST VIRGINIA, WISCONSIN, AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO ROAD DEICING CHEMICALS MAY CAUSE SEVERE CORROSION OF THE FUEL TANK STRAPS WHICH SECURE THE TANK TO THE VEHICLE.

  Consequences:

  AS A RESULT OF THE CORROSION, ONE OR BOTH STRAPS MAY FAIL ALLOWING THE FUEL LINES TO SEPARATE FROM THE TANK, OR IN SOME CASES, CAUSING THE TANK TO CONTACT THE GROUND. EITHER SCENARIO MAY RESULT IN A FUEL LEAK PRESENTING A FIRE HAZARD.

  Remedy:

  FORD WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND INSTRUCT THEM TO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO A FORD OR LINCOLN DEALER TO HAVE THE FUEL TANK STRAPS REPLACED WITH STRAPS THAT HAVE INCREASED CORROSION PROTECTION. EARLY IN THIS CAMPAIGN, IF REPLACEMENT STRAPS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, DEALERS MAY INSTALL A CABLE SUPPORT UNDER THE STRAP AS AN INTERIM REPAIR OR A STEEL REINFORCEMENT OVER THE EXISTING STRAP AS A PERMANENT REPAIR.   VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BI-FUEL CNG PICKUP TRUCKS AND BI-FUEL CNG VANS, MODIFIED BY CFI CONTROL SYSTEMS, INC., FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FMVSS NO. 303, "FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY OF COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS VEHICLES." THE LABEL AFFIXED TO THE FUEL FILLER DOOR BY THE VEHICLE MODIFIER CONTAINS THE INSPECTION DATE AND EXPIRATION DATE OF THE CNG TANK. HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE STATEMENT "SEE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE FUEL CONTAINER FOR INSPECTION AND SERVICE LIFE."

  Remedy:

  OWNERS WILL BE PROVIDED A LABEL WITH THE REQUIRED STATEMENT, ALONG WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR AFFIXING THE LABEL AT THE FUEL FILLER DOOR. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 2, 2000. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673.
